Scott Tidball


Scott Tidball is a wildlife biologist with over ten years of experience as a Biologist in the environmental consulting field. He received a B.A. from the California State University of Sacramento in Environmental Studies. Prior to consulting, Mr. Tidball worked as an ecologist for the California State Parks and as a GIS analyst with the Placer County Water Agency.

Mr. Tidball specializes in wetland delineations having conducted dozens of delineations throughout California. In addition, Mr. Tidball is a California Rapid Assessment Method (CRAM) certified practitioner for wetlands and riparian areas with experience surveying for numerous special-status animals and plants including California red-legged frog (Rana draytonii), foothill yellow-legged frog (Rana boylii), vernal pool branchiopods, burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia), raptors and nesting birds, Valley elderberry longhorn beetle (Desmocerus californicus dimorphus), bats, and many other species. Mr. Tidball also has a decade of experience surveying for and treating non-native invasive plant species and has conducted construction monitoring for many large, complex projects.
