Ryan Mendoza


Ryan Mendoza is a wildlife biologist with 6 years of experience in the environmental science field. He received his B.S. in Environmental Science, Technology, and Policy at California State University Monterey Bay, where he conducted a wide variety of research projects including NSF-funded research in the midwest. Mr. Mendoza's background lies within applied ecology, scientific writing and communication, and geospatial information systems (GIS) analysis.

As a biological monitor for Olberding Environmental Inc., Mr. Mendoza has coordinated biological sensitivity trainings for construction projects, written numerous monitoring reports, created maps for biological resource assessments, and conducted multiple surveys for special-status species, particularly Western Burrowing Owl, Swainson’s Hawk, and Giant Garter Snake.
