Brian Nissen


Brian Nissen has 5 years of experience working in the field of environmental regulation and permitting pertaining to wetland, riparian, and wildlife resources. Prior to working at Olberding Environmental, Inc., Mr. Nissen completed a Bachelor of Science from the Oregon State School of Forestry in Natural Resources with a Minor in Fisheries and Wildlife Science.

Mr. Nissen is experienced and proficient in many areas of resource management, including protocol level surveying for special status species of reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals, as well as the regulatory permitting process. Mr. Nissen specializes in hands-on land management and ecological restoration design and maintenance.

A Bay Area native with a deep passion for wildlife and habitat conservation, Mr. Nissen’s main goal is to protect and preserve biodiversity. In his free time, you might find Mr. Nissen working in his garden, looking through his binoculars, banding birds with San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory, rock climbing, or hanging out with his two miniature pinschers Rosie and Emmitt.
