Alex Baker has several years of experience with consulting work in the Bay Area. She has been with Olberding Environmental, Inc. for 3 years as a Biological Monitor. Prior to her tenure at Olberding, she graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Biology with a Marine Biology focus.
Ms. Baker has acquired expertise in many areas natural resource management including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) & California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, mitigation area monitoring, surveying for special status species, and environmental permit compliance.
Ms. Baker has a unique background that includes working for a variety of companies as an avian technician doing bird surveys, and as a scientific aid with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) as part of the Recreational Fisheries Survey identifying fish and collecting data from anglers in the Bay Area.
